July 22, 2008:
With great pleasure we would like to inform you that on June 28, 2008 we broke ground of Arnaha Library in Arnaha Village, a remote village in Sarlahi District. You can see the establishment in our latest uploaded pictures. At this time, we would like to take the opportunity to thank all our book and cash donors, helpers and volunteers in both the US and Nepal for their wonderful support. In particular we thank the following institutions and person for their help in establishing the library this summer.

Our work is not yet done. We are just getting started. At this point, we still need to set up furnitures like book shelves, tables and chairs. Our goal is to make the library self-sustaining. We are focusing on generating funds to hire a librarian.
