Hospitals in Nepal villages are in pathetic condition. Most of the villages do not have any health centers or hospitals. Even in the villages that do have health centers, they lack any medical facilities or equipments. The doctors do not show up to work on regular basis. The government employed doctors rather work in their own private clinic to earn additional money instead of providing service at the public hospitals. Thus, villagers are forced to travel to nearby villages or towns for any medical assistance.
